Gunstock Ranch is a family oriented business found on the best side of the island, oh, we mean the North Shore 😉. Gunstock Ranch was founded in 1973 by Dr. Max B. Smith and his son Greg, who is now the co-owner with his wife, Kyndra. Our business is driven by our four core values: family, animals, guests, and of course the land. We are a 900 acre working ranch filled with miles of trails, historical sites, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens. There'll also be wranglers that never stop working or talking about horses.
We over a variety of guided activities including horseback riding, horsemanship lessons, off-roading, and planting of native Hawaiian trees. We can assure you that there is something for everyone here, no matter the age. Helping you create beautiful memories while visiting Hawaii is our priority and we'll do everything in our control to make sure that that is what you receive. This is why we do things a little different here at the ranch that'll make you feel a part of our family. We pride ourselves in providing you intimate experiences by keeping our group rides smaller. Our wranglers and guests are able to have a one-on-one connection, learn about the land, history, animals, and Hawaii.
