From our Keiki Rides to our Advanced Rides, the beauty of Hawaii is for everyone to experience.

For over 40 years, Gunstock Ranch has been a family owned and operated working ranch at the base of the majestic Ko’olau Mountain Range on Oahu’s North Shore. We offer some of Hawaii’s finest horseback riding trails. Our trails provide you with breathtaking views that allow you to see from Kanoehe Bay to the North Shore. Our owners, Greg and Kyndra Smith, still run Gunstock Ranch with the understanding that a personal touch makes for a memorable experience. Because of this, our trail rides are led by experienced and friendly Wranglers, in small group sizes, allowing you to visit and experience the peace and beauty that Hawaii has to offer. Our goal is to give you an experience you won’t forget.

Horse Boarding

Gunstock Ranch offers horse boarding here on the North Shore.  One of the few ranches left with mountain horseback riding trails, our boarders have access to ride and enjoy our mountain trails.  We offer pasture or stall horse boarding. We also have a large arena that is open for boarders to rope, practice barrel or poles, and other rodeo activities.

Swimming Lessons and American Red Cross Safety Training

Gunstock Ranch has also teamed with Gunstock Aquatics to offer a Swim School that offers year round swimming lessons for all ages: including infants, toddlers, children and adults.  We provide a teaching environment that fits the needs of each swimmer with private, semi-private, small class lessons.  We also offer a variety of American Red Cross training and Certification courses for CPR, AED, First Aid, Emergency Medical Response, Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguarding, and Lifeguarding Instructor.  We can come to your facility or you can come to ours.

Parties, Events and Fieldtrips

Gunstock Ranch is a fun place to have a party or other large group activity.  We offer pony rides, a petting zoo, educational field trips, team building activities, animal science and  nature hikes,  swimming pool fun, horse camps, horseback riding lessons, 4-H clubs.  We have a large 5 acre field that is perfect for large group events like concerts or family reunions. We also travel out to large group events if you are wanting to offer pony rides.  We also rent out parade horses.
