Sweetheart RideThe Sweetheart Horseback Ride is a 2 hour, private party ride. One of our wranglers will guide guests through our mountain trails to a nice scenic lookout spot and dismount them. A picnic lunch will be provided and the wrangler will leave the party alone for 1/2 hour private time to enjoy lunch and your surroundings. This ride is suitable for all skill levels. No pregnant riders will be allowed. This is a great way to spend “sweetheart time”, celebrate birthdays or special occasions. Since this ride is private for your party, you may have as many guests along as you would like. If you are comfortable on horses and would like to add some advanced ride features we can adjust that ride for you since it is a private party. Our weight limit for any rider is 240 lbs.Sweetheart Ride proposal

A picnic (food) is included with this ride and it is packed along with you. The food includes: croissant sandwiches, local fruit, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, water, and a bottle of sparkling cider. No alcoholic beverages allowed.

This ride winds through mountain trails with occasional ocean views. The highlight spot is our scenic lookout which provides a great view of the Windward side of Oahu. This is a great picture taking spot so bring your camera. We work to keep our ride sizes small because we want our guest to feel like they have experienced a true Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy) horseback ride. Guests are likely to see wild pigs, cattle, and other horses roaming through our mountain trails.

Sweetheart Ride MealPlease check in 20 min. before your ride time. Please plan ahead so you are not late. Our goal is to have every ride leaving 10 min. from ride time. Guests who are late are subject to being left behind. If you miss your ride because you are late no refund will be issued. We are located 2 miles North of the Polynesian Cultural Center, between the towns of Laie and Kahuku, Oahu. We are a 10 min. drive from Turtle Bay Resort.

We recommend that you wear long pants and covered shoes for this ride. Cowboy boots are not required. Wear sunscreen and bring a bottle of water. Small cameras are welcome. For chilly days it is a good idea to bring a light sweater or jacket. Backpacks, bags, and bulky camera equipment will not be allowed on the horse for the ride. We do have a small pack on the saddle that can fit a water bottle or small camera.
