Gunstock Ranch is one of the last true working cattle ranches left on Oahu.  We welcome three options of users to our humble facilities; Boarders, Roping & Riding Club Members, and visiting guests.

Our facilities include:
A large footed arena, access to miles of Mountain Trails, the opportunity to do mountain cattle drives, as well as access to roping/sorting/cutting cattle. We also have two round pens available for Boarder and Roping and Riding Club use.

Need a place to Board your horse?  We offer Communal pasture, private pastures, and stall options. Talk to Greg Smith to discuss availability.

Boarding Includes

• Pasture for your horse
• Water for your horse (not to water your pasture area)
• Acces and Use to mountain trails
• Areana use
• Cattle use
• Place for you to bring your friends to ride your horses without charge.
• Opportunity to rent trail horses at discounted rate to take  friends riding.

Guests of Boarders

• Boarders may bring their friends(once-in-a-while type users, which does not include 4-H club members)  to ride their own boarded horses and visit Gunstock Ranch without paying the guest fee. 

• If your guest want to bring in their own horse to ride or rope, they need to pay the guest fee of $20 per visit. 

• All guest who will be riding at Gunstock Ranch need to sign the guest waiver.  All waivers and fees can be placed in the black box located on the fence by the home.  This is an on your honor system.

Rates

• Private pastures: $150 per month
• Communal pastures: $150 per month
• Stalls - $325 per month  (Includes 2 x daily feeding of cubes (approximately 8lbs per feeding).  Must muck own stalls.
• Stud Stalls - inquire with Greg Smith

Gunstock Ranch Trail Horses are available for boarders to rent to take their friends riding with them. Renting includes a tacked horse ready at hitching rail at scheduled time of ride. Once ride time is completed horses just need to be brought back to and tied to the hitching rail (keep horse saddled).  Rates are $40 (plus tax) per horse, for 2 hours.   Call 808-341-3995 to make your reservation.

Have your own horse and need a place to trail ride, rope cattle, practice rodeo events, take lessons, or practice your skills in a large footed arena? Our R&R Club provides this access.  All waivers and fees can be placed in the black box located on the fence by the home.  This is an on your honor system.

Riding and Roping Contract & Waiver

Who needs to pay for a Riding and Roping Club Membership?

• Individuals who do not have a boarding contract at Gunstock Ranch and who would like to be able to use the Gunstock Ranch facilities more than a once a month.
• All 4-H Club members who do not board a horse at Gunstock Ranch, or who have not adopted a Gunstock Ranch horse; if they will be riding a horse on Gunstock Ranch.

Guest of Riding and Roping Club Members

• All guest of R&R Club members need to pay the guest fee, even if they are uing the R&R Club members horse.
• If your guest want to bring in their own horse to ride or rope, they need to pay the guest fee.
• All guest who will be riding at Gunstock Ranch need to sign the guest waiver.  All waivers and fees can be placed in the black box located on the fence by the home.  This is an on your honor system.

•  $100 month, per individuals 18 years and older
• $25 a month, per individuals 17 and under

Boarders and Riding and Roping Club members are welcome to invite friends to join them at Gunstock Ranch.  Guest users are considered those who will visit our ranch only a few times per month.  Different conditions are in place for Guest of Boarders, and Guest of R&R Club members.  Please read below.

Who Needs to pay the Guest fee?

•  Individuals who are not boarding a horse at Gunstock Ranch (with boarder exception)
•  Individuals who are not members of the Riding and Roping Club.

•  Individuals who wish to bring in their own horse to practice in the arena, work cattle, or ride the trails at Gunstock Ranch on a time to time basis.

  Guest Fee: Per Time Visits $20 per guest / per visit
