Check out our first group to try out our newest 45 min group ride. Our 45 min ride is for educational groups to enjoy a horseback ride at a reduced price $45 for 45 min ride. We are excited to be able to offer this as an option so more people can experience a horseback ride in our neck of the woods. Email here for all the details.

High School Rodeo Halloween Fun Day

If you haven’t been to Halloween Fun Day and Costume Contest…. well you don’t know what you are missing. Last year was my first time seeing horses dressed up to match his/her rider. Talk about creativity! Even as a spectator it was fun. This year, as a fundraiser for Oahu High School Rodeo, it will be bigger, better, and promises to be entertaining. There are 12 events to choose from including the Sit-a-Buck and the Mounted Egg Toss. There are even two events where you don’t need a horse. Download all the info here Halloween Fun Day Entry 2011. Your entry must be postmarked or faxed by October 26, 2011. Sign-in starts at 9am and events start at 10am. This event is free and open to the public. Come and join us even if you don’t enter.

Aloha Week Parade

Gunstock Ranch has been providing horses for Hawaii Parades for over 30 years. We recently sent 21 of our horses to this years Aloha Week Parade on September 24th. It was a pleasure working with the different units and as usual the parade was wonderful site to see. 2nd Annual Gunstock Trails Half Marathon and 5k

It’s official! Gunstock will be the site of the 2nd annual Gunstock Trails half marathon and 5k. Race starts at 7 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011! Registration is now open on active.com!

Race sponsors felt that last year we had an excellent event and are going to make it even better this year! One addition to their schedule will be the option of picking up your race number the night before at the Running Room between the hours of 3 and 7 p.m. This will give you a chance to get some extra zzzz’s on race morning as well as pick up a few last minute running supplies. They will still have number pick-up on race morning at the race as well! We look forward to another great year!
