A typical day consists of 3-4 stations that your group will get to experience. You can put together a package that meets both your educational goals and budget. Gunstock Ranch is most famous for our horseback rides in Hawaiian country, and one of the best locations for Horseback Lessons in Hawaii. Below are our 5 most popular activities we offer. Horseback Riding and Petting Zoo

Get up close and personal with the animals under the guidance of our expert wranglers. Students have to opportunity to ride horses around the pen, and hold and feed the animals in our petting zoo. We have mini ponies to regular-size horses available depending on the ages of your students.

Swimming

Put on your sunscreen and make a splash and come swimming with Gunstock Ranch! Our heated and covered pool can accommodate groups of up to 120 children. We provide 2 certified lifeguards and toys. The age and size of your group will determine the number of additional chaperones needed in the pool.

Team Building

Our team building can be a 45-minute station or a full day of activities. This is an ideal activity for older students or leadership groups. Tell us your goals and we will customize our activities to help build cooperation, communication, trust and leadership skills for your group.

Hike

Go on our hike and come away with a new perspective.  Students will also be able to see our ranch animals in their natural habitat.

Cave Hike – 1 hour hike for 4th grade and up/ learn the legend of Laʻieikawai

Nature Walk – for 3-6 year olds – walk down a mostly shaded path to our 50 year old banyan tree. Students may see animals in their habitat.

Lookout Hike – Students will go on a 1.5 hour hike to around our ranch. From this vantage point you can see the North Shore and the Windward coastline.
